High performing teams, not only deliver to expectations, they exceed them. To create a strong team culture, H2R Consulting works with teams during practical workshop sessions using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
Our team development sessions help individuals gain insight into their own personal style, as well as gain a greater appreciation of their colleagues’ preferred styles. The MBTI serves to help understand what makes people ‘tick’ and provides a framework for those in the team to understand how each other thinks, makes decisions and solves problems. Once individuals have an appreciation of each other’s preferences and how they tend to react under stress, they will be able to adjust their approach towards communication and interaction in order to maximise effectiveness.
Our workshop reveals each person’s MBTI ‘type’ and what it means in terms of how they focus their attention, take in information, make decisions, organise themselves and relate to people. We also explore the impact of type on a person’s:
Throughout the session, we run through a series of practical exercises to increase understanding within the team. We also determine the overall Team Type, which reflects the strengths and development needs of the team as a whole and enables the team to put an action plan in place to make constructive use of the individual differences within the group.
