Our Background and Ownership
H2R Consulting was established in 2004 and we are a 100% Kiwi owned company. We have 40 staff with offices in Auckland and Wellington. We also operate our Australian business, H2R Pty Ltd which is based in Melbourne. Our Directors are Eugene Ng and Jane Walker, both of whom are still very active in the business. Our Senior Leadership Team includes Katerina Makarios – Wellington Regional Manager, Lucy McLernon – Auckland Regional Manager, Hayley Wright – Head of Organisational Development and Katrina Lucinsky – Finance and Operations Manager.
Our points of difference
Service vs Sales focus – Unlike many of our competitors, our business is focused on the provision of outstanding customer service both for clients and candidates. Whilst business development and relationship management is very important, our consultants KPI’s are aligned to quality of service and repeat business.
NZ Owned – Many of our competitors are now owned by large international companies. H2R is still wholly NZ owned and we return our profits back to the NZ economy. In fact we also return profits from our Australian business back to NZ as well. We operate with a “can do” attitude and can tailor all aspects of our services to meet our client’s needs.
One Stop Shop – We provide the full scope of recruitment services from temps through to senior executive recruitment. We also have a strong team of ten Career/Change and Psych Assessment specialists who provide psychometric assessment and Career/Change support services on a nationwide basis.
We value honesty and transparency in all our dealings. It’s much easier to do business that way.
We want our business to be sustainable not just from an environmental perspective but also from a relationship perspective. Our pricing is aligned to value for money so we achieve long term repeat business and a reputation for delivery and quality of service.
We look after our staff as we want them to achieve long term goals both in their careers and personal lives. Many have been with us for over 10 years (some since our establishment in 2004). Low turnover means we will always be here for you when you need us.
