Broker Support Consultant

Permanent / Full Time

Our client is a well-established, New Zealand owner insurance brokerage located in Lower Hutt.  The business is growing and we are looking for an experienced Broker Support Consultant to join this close-knit team.

In this client facing role, you will be providing client support, administration, and coordination support to insurance brokers and the wider team.  You will also be liaising with a variety of commercial and domestic clients and responding to their inquiries. 

 Some of the key duties of this role include:

  • Responding to all client insurance inquiries such cover and account queries, policy amendments and payment schedules
  • Investigating client requirements to ascertain whether the policy/cover is right for the client
  • Processing insurance renewals, endorsements and cancellations
  • Liaising with insurers
  • Processing finance agreements

To be considered for this role, you must obtain the following attributes:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a client facing/support role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships at various levels
  • Be a team player and take the initiative to get the job done
  • Ideally previous insurance experience
