Over the last three decades, our client has played a quietly constructive role helping to shape many of the advances in Aotearoa New Zealand society. Not only have they provided high-level, analytical thinking on complex policy and organisational challenges, they have also been at the practical end of making the changes happen.

Now one of New Zealand’s leading strategic consultancies, they have a focus on supporting central, local government, and non-government organisations to achieve societal objectives and deliver public services.

This role will centre on supporting clients to identify, design, and embed the organisational arrangements and culture that will set them up for success.
Previous consulting experience is not necessary, but the successful applicant will need experience in roles supporting organisational performance. Most importantly, they will be intellectually curious and analytic, personable and collaborative, and willing to rise to the challenge of delivering the best outcome for clients across a broad variety of subjects and contexts.

Whilst not essential, experience in kaupapa Māori or Pasifika environments, and competency in te reo Māori would be a strong advantage.
This is not an ordinary consulting job – it offers the opportunity to extend your skills and accelerate your professional growth by working on varied assignments in a multi-disciplined environment. You will be mentored and supported by experienced practitioners and influencers at the leading edge of their profession who are driven by an ambition for high performance, and effectiveness for our clients.

Importantly, our client offers a great place to work. They take their work seriously…but not themselves. They truly value diversity and the benefits it brings. They will invest in you to stretch and develop professionally.  Flexible work arrangements, competitive remuneration, and a portfolio of work that supports organisations to tackle the significant issues and challenges facing New Zealand communities is all on offer.
