Te Kāhui Tātari Ture (Criminal Cases Review Commission) reviews potential miscarriages of justice and refers appropriate cases back to an appellate court.  Te Kāhui Tātari Ture also undertakes outreach and education and from time to time, inquiries into systemic issues identified during the mahi of Te Kāhui.

Te angitū: The opportunity 
Reporting to the Chief Executive and supporting a board of Commissioners, this pivotal leadership role is responsible for the strategic and operational success of Te Kāhui Tātari Ture.

Overseeing all corporate functions, including Finance and Risk, HR, IT, Communications, Property, Health, Safety and Wellbeing, Outreach and Education; the Corporate & Engagement Manager will guide and develop a tight team while ensuring strong alignment with organisational values and culture.
Along with proven people leadership across diverse teams, the Corporate & Engagement Manager will bring deep expertise in finance and risk management, including budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and audit oversight.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a pragmatic, politically astute leader who can move fluidly between strategic direction and operational delivery in a dynamic environment. No day is ever the same.

Kōrero mōu ake: About you 
You will have a finance and risk management background, as well as experience reporting directly to the Chief Executive in a previous role.

With proven people leadership experience, you will be comfortable working with others at all levels of the organisation.

You must be comfortable working at both a strategic and operational level, be politically astute, adept at supporting a board to be successful, and have an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Te Ao Māori.
