Purpose of the role:
The Director: Corporate Services and Risk is responsible for overseeing the corporate services functions, including finance, IT, administration and facilities, contract management and procurement. This role also involves setting and managing the organisation’s risk management framework, identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them. The Director: Corporate Services and Risk ensures that all corporate services align with the organisation’s strategic goals and that the organisation is compliant with legislation and Save the Children International Standards.
  
Person Specification:

  • CA Qualified. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, risk management or related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in corporate services, risk management or related area, with at least 5 years in a senior management position.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance, risk management principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  
Skills and Competencies:

  • Financial and risk management acumen and experience with budget management.
  • Proficiency in overseeing information technology management.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
