Engineering Coordinator

This role will see you report into the Engineering Manager – Deep Water, working alongside two other Engineering Coordinators.  It is your role to coordinate and implement the delivery of scheduled vessel turnaround engineering repair and maintenance work for the deep-water fleet vessels, as well as manage the delivery of projects such as dry dock and major repair work.

You are experienced in coordinating plant shutdowns, have excellent planning, organising and people management skills, and can analyse requirements to utilise workforce planning to improve vessel downtime.  You build relationships with ease, are comfortable communicating across all levels of an organisation and pride yourself on your ability to influence and get buy in to make things happen.

To be successful in this role you will have some or all of the following attributes:

  • Proven leadership experience in an engineering environment
  • Capability to use planning management programmes, including Excel and Workmate
  • Comfortable evaluating budgets and invoices
  • Project management experience
  • Comfortable adapting your style to suit your audience, as well as working across multiple environments such as the office, on our vessels and in dry-dock.
  • Innovative and proactive
  • Experience within maritime or primary industries, with working knowledge of maritime rules and regulations, and machinery.
