We are seeking a motivated Senior HR Advisor to step into a Junior People Partner position. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of People and Culture providing essential generalist support  to key stakeholders. Our client is a values-driven organisation focused on sustainability, collaboration, and wellness.

What you will do:

In this role, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders supporting the full HR remit including, recruitment, ER, Engagement, Employee experience, and Cyclical Activities. You will also play a crucial role in promoting Health and Safety initiatives by attending meetings, and fostering a culture of safety within the organisation alongside other H&S champions. You will manage the HRIS and H&S system and plan different exciting engagement and learning activities for the team.
This role offers a wonderful opportunity for you to expand on your HR Generalist toolbox and also explore your areas of interests such as L&D, DE&I, Sustainability, employee engagement and OD. HR holds a credible seat at the table in this position, meaning that you will be coming into a great work environment with good buy in.

What you will bring:

  • At least three years’ experience working in an HR Generalist/Advisory position.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of New Zealand Employment Legislation and cyclical activities such as Performance and Salary reviews.
  • A deep passion for sustainability and making a positive impact.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the confidence to manage relationships at all levels.
  • Proactive mindset with the resilience to work autonomously and tackle challenges head-on.
  • Interest in continuous learning and growth, with a willingness to adapt and seamlessly integrate into our team culture.
