Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen within TRC’s Development and Commercial team for an Operations Manager – Development & Commercial. This role offers the chance to make a real impact driving tangible results in the regeneration and housing sector.

As the Operations Manager – Development & Commercial, you will play a key role in embedding and maintaining TRC’s End-to-End process, ensuring the effective delivery of TRC’s build program. You’ll collaborate with Development Managers, internal teams, and external partners to oversee the design, processes, and delivery of key projects. This role offers the chance to influence TRC’s frameworks and processes, ensuring they remain fit for purpose while managing evolving priorities. You’ll also oversee one direct report and play a key role in aligning strategy with actionable outcomes across every stage of the programme pipeline.

Who You Will Be

  • Ideal Experience: You have a background in Project/Programme Management, Strategy or Policy. Working in infrastructure and on housing projects is a big plus!
  • A Strategic Innovator: Skilled at connecting strategy to execution, ensuring processes and frameworks translate into tangible outcomes.
  • A Relationship Builder: Exceptional at managing diverse stakeholders, internal teams, and delivery partners.
  • Adaptable and Resilient: Confident navigating change, managing evolving priorities, and maintaining composure when challenges arise.
  • Efficient communicator: Able to communicate messages across different stakeholders and present to senior stakeholders and board members when required.
