Senior Advisor – Investment Planning & Performance (3-Month Contract, Extensions Possible)

$140 per hour | Wellington or WFH Flexibility
We’re looking for a sharp, hands-on contractor to support a busy Investment Planning and Performance team during a critical delivery phase. This is a role for someone who knows how to turn strategy into action and thrives in fast-moving, outcome-driven environments.
What we’re after:

• Strong experience with the Better Business Case (BBC) framework — providing advice on infrastructure business cases
• Background in local government or key agencies or major infrastructure consultancies
• Experience contributing to or developing Asset Management Plans
• Proven strategy and planning experience, including long-term plans, annual plans, and 10–30-year investment strategies
• Familiarity with NZS3910–3916, LGA, RMA, and related standards
• A proactive, can-do attitude and comfort working to tight deadlines
• Infrastructure background an advantage
