Are you ready for a new challenge in 2026? We’re looking for a dynamic and innovative leader to take on a newly created role with a growing insurance company, based in Takapuna. This is your opportunity to shape the future of client onboarding and raise the bar for service excellence. As a New Business Manager, you’ll lead a team responsible for the end-to-end client onboarding process, working closely with the underwriting team and building strong relationships with third-party advisors. The goal? To ensure the service delivered exceeds expectations and is always one step ahead.

About the role:

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team, setting clear expectations and driving results.
  • Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients while managing and strengthening relationships with internal teams and third-party advisors.
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to optimise processes and enhance service delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with underwriting and operations to ensure a seamless and efficient experience for customers and advisors.
  • Foster a culture of engagement and adaptability, motivating the team to consistently deliver excellence and exceed performance expectations.
Who you will be:

We are seeking a strong, experienced leader with a solid background in life insurance, ideally someone who has worked in customer onboarding, third-party insurance advisor relationships, and/or the new business space. The ideal candidate will bring an innovative and creative approach, combined with a high-performance mindset and a natural ability to deliver an exceptional experience for both customers and advisers. To succeed in this role, you’ll need proven leadership skills, the ability to set and maintain high standards, and a talent for motivating and inspiring teams. You’ll be proactive and forward-thinking, with strong relationship management capabilities, and adaptable to lead through transformation while fostering engagement and collaboration.
