Are you an ambitious HR generalist who enjoys people partnering and solving complex employee issues? We’re looking for a forward‑thinking People Partner to join a fast‑growing, global, tech‑enabled business based in Auckland.

This newly created role offers a 50/50 split between generalist HR and employee relations, ideal for someone looking to grow their capability in a modern, tech‑driven environment. You’ll partner with managers globally across the employee lifecycle, supporting performance, behaviour, and people decisions with a strong commercial lens, while balancing risk and business impact. The environment is fast‑moving and evolving, so sound judgement, curiosity, and adaptability are key.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Partnering with managers on day‑to‑day people matters, performance, engagement, and development
  • Supporting employee relations matters with a pragmatic, commercially minded approach
  • Helping managers understand risks, options, and consequences, then supporting execution once decisions are made
  • Contributing to the evolution of people and ER frameworks so they’re scalable, consistent, and fit for a modern workforce
  • Working across time zones and with global stakeholders in a flexible, trust‑based environment

We’re looking for someone with strong HR generalist experience and hands‑on ER capability, ideally from a tech, startup, or scale‑up environment, with exposure to New Zealand and preferably Australia. You’ll be pragmatic, commercially minded, comfortable working in the grey, and confident adapting your approach to different leaders.

Why this role?

  • Join a collaborative, high‑growth global business
  • Flexible, hybrid working and a high‑trust culture
  • Exposure to global people partnering and scale

This is a global role, so some work outside standard NZ hours is required. In return, the business offers genuine flexibility to shape your working day.
