A rare opportunity has presented to join a dedicated Networking and Security team to provide a high level of network and security operational support.

Reporting to the Network & Security Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and implementing network & security solutions that meet the  security, availability and capacity requirements. 

You’ll support cybersecurity capability in the areas of network architecture, security operations, threat intelligence and incident response.
 
To be successful in this role, the preferred candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• 5+ years in a dedicated SRE – Networking and Security Engineer role
• Ability to work as part of a dedicated networking and security team environment as well as independently with confidence.
• Experience working within a large scale enterprise environment is preferred.
• Extensive Networking and Security Engineering experience with Fortinet, Juniper and F5 experience preferred.
• Support and resolve issues in the production environment to meet SLA’s.
• Ensure necessary monitoring for reliable service delivery.
• Ensure production networks are adequately sized.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines and capacity planning
• Collaborate with QA and Development managers for non-production network readiness
• Improve automation of provisioning with the IT team.
• Monitor threat intelligence and respond to incidents with the Security and Risk team.
• Assist with day-to-day network and security operations, including upgrades.
• Ensure end-to-end security design in projects.
• Reduce cyber risk in network architecture, security operations, and incident response.
• Respond to security incidents as directed.
• Design and implement overlay network components.
