Senior GIS Advisor (x2) – 6 Month Contract (Potential Extension)

Wellington (preferred) | Open to Auckland,Christchurch| Hybrid Working

We are currently supporting a large-scale, nationally significant asset management programme seeking 2x Senior GIS Advisors to support the standardisation of GIS technology and frameworks across the transport sector.
These roles combine both analytical and advisory capability, working across technical teams and programme stakeholders to deliver consistent, high-quality geospatial outcomes.
About the role
You will:

• Provide geospatial advice to support decision-making across the programme
• Deliver mapping, spatial analysis and visualisation
• Support the standardisation of GIS tools, frameworks and practices
• Work within a multi-disciplinary programme environment
• Contribute to geospatial improvement initiatives and projects

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years’ experience using Esri technologies (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro)
• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and/or ArcGIS Online
• Strong spatial analysis, data management and visualisation capability
• Experience with FME and geospatial data workflows
• Exposure to automation within GIS environments
• Experience working in project or programme environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across teams
