A rare opportunity has presented for an experienced Data Scientist to join a progressive and forward thinking data project team.  Working on a large scale dedicated project, you will provide a high level of data science including building production modules, design and ensuring best practice recommendations.

The preferred candidate will have the following skills and experience to be successful:

• 3-5 years dedicated experience in a Data Science role within a large scale enterprise level environment
• Graduate of Applied Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of timeseries forecasting and financial modelling is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement is essential with the ability to partner and engage with wider business to secure information and deliver a high level of data analysis.
• Strong experience with R and/or Python and SQL is expected.
• Experience in a big data platform such as Apache Spark
• Experience in ML frameworks such as Tensorflow, Keras and Sklearn.
• Excellent problem solving skills and lateral thinking ability
• Deep understanding of solution design using data
• Excellent communication skills is essential with the ability to connect with project, marketing and data engineers to deliver a high level of data design and solution.
