About the role
Oversee a collaborative administration team while remaining hands-on in the delivery of high-quality legal administrative support across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced legal administrator ready to step into leadership, or an established team leader seeking a new challenge within a professional services environment.
Work closely with internal stakeholders across the firm to coordinate workflows, support process improvements, assist with complex administrative matters, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the team. You’ll enjoy balancing people leadership with operational delivery in a varied and fast-paced role.

Duties

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of legal administrators and front office staff
  • Manage workflows, resource allocation, and team coordination across the administration function
  • Provide hands-on legal administration support including documentation, correspondence, and client matter management
  • Oversee inboxes, workflow systems, and service delivery standards
  • Assist with AML and client onboarding processes
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to operational efficiencies
  • Liaise with Partners and senior stakeholders to ensure support requirements are met

Skills & experience

  • Proven experience within legal administration is essential
  • Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Advanced MS Office skills and confidence learning new systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, proactive, and collaborative approach to work
