HR Business Partner

We are partnering with a nationwide organisation to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner to join their close-knit and collaborative HR team on a five month fixed-term contract. Based on site in Mt Wellington, this is a broad generalist role supporting leaders across a range of people-related initiatives.

This position will suit someone who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has proven experience operating within a unionised workforce.
  
Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with leaders to provide day-to-day HR advice and support
• Communicating and presenting employee engagement survey results and insights
• Managing a range of ER and IR matters
• Supporting union engagement and collective bargaining processes
• Coaching and supporting leaders through people matters and change
• Leading and mentoring two direct reports

  
About you:

• Proven experience in a generalist HR Business Partner role
• Strong ER and IR capability, within a unionised environment
• Confident stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to build credibility and work collaboratively across the business
• Previous leadership experience is advantageous but not a requirement
