We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Operations Manager to join a purpose-driven, privately owned New Zealand business making a genuine impact in the community. This is a newly refined role created to strengthen operational oversight, improve visibility across the business, and support the next stage of growth. Working closely with the owners and wider leadership team, you’ll take ownership of the internal operations function including reporting, systems improvement, and people leadership ensuring the business is well organised and set up for long-term success. You’ll work across multiple areas, helping create consistency, accountability, and stronger operational visibility.

This role would suit someone who enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and follow-through to a growing environment. You’ll be someone who naturally takes initiative, enjoys understanding how things work, and is confident improving systems and processes in a thoughtful and practical way.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading operational delivery and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the business
  • Building and maintaining meaningful reporting and operational tracking
  • Reviewing and improving systems, processes, and workflows
  • Compliance, policies, procedures, and operational structure
  • Providing leadership and oversight to the administration function
  • Identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
  • Working closely with the leadership team to support planning and operational priorities
  • Supporting a collaborative and positive team environment

About you:
You’ll be an experienced Operations professional with proven strength in compliance, policy, data, reporting and systems. You enjoy balancing people leadership with operational detail and are naturally organised, warm, fun, proactive, and solutions-focused. Most importantly, you’ll bring a collaborative and approachable style. This business values trust, open communication, and people who take the time to understand before making change. You’ll enjoy working closely with others, building strong relationships across the business, and creating confidence through consistency and follow-through.

Experience working within health, rehabilitation, professional services, or other service-based environments would be highly regarded.
