The oportunity:

We have a really interesting and varied role for someone with solid Payroll skills and experience, and also some HR Coordination. This is initially a temp role for 2 months, but there is oportunity to apply for a perminent role in the future.

Our client requires someone with robust Payroll processing skills (end to end), ideally corporte, with knowledge of Payroll rules and regulations.

We are also looking for someone with the ability to pivot and work on lower level HR Coordination tasks during this time. Payroll and HR and time spent in each area will fluctuate depending on needs at the time.

This would be an awesome role for either someone with strong Payroll skills, wanting to venture more into HR, or someone already skilled in both areas.

More detail:

A full handover will be provided, allowing you to work closely with the current payroll lead before taking responsibility for the end-to-end payroll cycle.
Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the end-to-end fortnightly payroll process
  • Transferring and validating timesheet information
  • Processing annual leave, overtime, ACC adjustments, and payroll variations
  • Running payroll reports and obtaining approval from relevant stakeholders
  • Processing payroll and ensuring accurate employee payments
  • Calculating and processing final pays
  • Maintaining payroll records and ensuring data accuracy
  • Supporting the onboarding process, including:
    • Sending welcome emails
    • Setting up new employees in systems
    • Adding new starters to payroll
    • Issuing tax and payroll documentation
  • Supporting employee offboarding processes
  • Providing general payroll administration and coordination support
