Technology Resource Lead (Contract) We are seeking an experienced Technology Resource Lead to drive improvements in workforce planning, resource governance, and operational oversight within a large and complex technology environment.

This is a strategic and hands-on role focused on improving visibility, consistency, and decision-making across technology resourcing and workforce management. Working with senior stakeholders, you will establish practical governance frameworks, enhance workforce reporting and insights, improve resource planning processes, and identify opportunities to streamline and automate activities across the resourcing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement technology resourcing principles, governance frameworks, and decision-making processes.
  • Improve workforce planning, resource forecasting, and recruitment pipeline visibility.
  • Analyse, validate, and improve workforce and resourcing data to support informed decision-making.
  • Enhance reporting and monitoring through the use of Excel, Power BI, and Power Platform tools.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Develop clear process documentation, guidance materials, and stakeholder training resources.
  • Support the development of resource cost allocation and reporting approaches.
  • Improve compliance, monitoring, and workforce management practices.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in workforce planning, resource management, PMO governance, technology operations, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with workforce and operational data.
  • Experience developing governance frameworks, operating models, or business processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data modelling and Power Query.
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Microsoft Lists, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvement and automation opportunities.
  • Ability to influence outcomes and drive change in complex organisational environments.
