We’re supporting our client, a Hamilton based, public sector organisation, who are seeking an experienced Health & Safety professional for a short-term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a hands-on role within a supportive Health & Safety team, contributing to a critical phase of their annual audit cycle.

About the role
Working closely with the Health & Safety team, you’ll be responsible for supporting an internal ISO 45001 audit. This is a practical, site-based role where your ability to engage with stakeholders and deliver clear, actionable insights will be key.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal ISO 45001 audits across multiple sites
• Visit operational locations to assess compliance and risk
• Engage with site teams to gather information and build understanding
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports with findings and recommendations
• Support the organisation in preparing for their end-of-year external audit

About you
We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and bring confidence, structure, and strong communication skills to the role. You will have:

• Proven experience in Health & Safety auditing 
• Strong understanding of auditing frameworks and compliance requirements
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a short-term assignment effectively
• Excellent written skills with experience producing audit reports
• Confidence engaging with operational/site-based teams
