About the role
Step into a true generalist P&C Advisor role where you’ll be work closely with leaders across a large, operational workforce. Supporting predominantly waged employees, you’ll be a key point of contact on-site, providing practical guidance and building trusted relationships across the business.

Duties

  • Provide day-to-day HR support to leaders across an operational workforce
  • Support and manage low to mid-level ER matters including absenteeism, performance, and conduct
  • Coach and guide leaders through people processes and conversations
  • Prepare and manage HR documentation including letters, variations, and outcomes
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle coordination
  • Maintain accuracy across HR systems and employee records
  • Build strong relationships across site and act as a trusted HR presence
  • Contribute to process improvements and team initiatives

Skills & experience

  • Previous HR Advisor experience or strong HR Coordinator ready to step up
  • Exposure to ER processes (e.g. letters, meetings, documentation)
  • Confident working in a fast-paced, operational or blue-collar environment
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence on the ground
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Proactive, energetic, and comfortable taking initiative
  • Sound understanding of NZ employment relations (beneficial)
