The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior People Advisor to join Lunit on a part-time, 12-month fixed-term basis covering parental leave.
  
Working closely with the Chief People and Operations Officer and People Operations Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting their employees across New Zealand, Australia, and Europe. This varied position combines talent acquisition with broad generalist HR support, partnering with leaders and employees across the business. As part of a small team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing trusted advice, coaching, and practical HR solutions that support both their people and organisational goals.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment and selection processes.
  • Partner with leaders to understand business objectives and provide strategic and operational HR advice.
  • Provide guidance and support on performance management, including performance reviews, development plans, and employee relations matters.
  • Coach and advise managers and employees across a broad range of HR topics and initiatives.
  • Support the delivery of people-focused programs, policies, and processes.
  • Foster and promote a values-driven culture built on high performance, transparency, collaboration, fun, and inclusivity.

About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor position.
  • Strong knowledge of employment relations and HR best practice.
  • Experience supporting managers across a broad range of generalist HR activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
  • The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and navigate a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with international teams and across multiple time zones would be highly regarded.
  • Previous experience working in a Software as a Service environment is desirable.
  • A positive, adaptable attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and contribute wherever needed.

What else do you need to know?

  • This is a hybrid role, and you will need to be able to work out of their Wellington CBD office at least three days per week. Of course, you are welcome to come into the office more often if that suits you!
