Our Client is seeking an exceptional Senior Administrator who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and can confidently take ownership of a broad operational and governance portfolio.

This is not a traditional administration role. We’re seeking someone who can quickly understand the bigger picture, identify what needs attention, establish effective ways of working, and ensure things run smoothly with minimal direction.

You’ll be a trusted partner to senior leaders, acting as the engine room behind governance, operational coordination, communications, and administrative excellence.

About the Role
This is a varied and high-impact position supporting a busy leadership team in a complex organisational environment.
You will be responsible for coordinating a wide range of activities including:

  • Executive diary and calendar management
  • Governance and committee administration
  • Agenda and board paper coordination
  • Minute taking, action tracking and follow-up
  • Management of shared inboxes and communications
  • Financial approvals and administration
  • Onboarding and induction coordination
  • Meeting and event planning
  • Document and records management
  • SharePoint and collaboration tool administration
  • Supporting leaders with operational priorities and day-to-day coordination

You will be relied upon to anticipate needs, solve problems, create structure, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

About You
You are someone who naturally takes ownership and enjoys bringing order to busy environments.
You’ll bring:

  • Significant experience in executive support, governance, programme coordination, or similar role
  • Experience supporting senior leaders and complex stakeholder groups
  • Strong governance or secretariat experience, including board or committee support
  • Outstanding organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality
  • Confidence managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills
  • The ability to work independently and make sound judgments

Most importantly, you’re resilient, proactive, and comfortable operating in environments where priorities can shift quickly.

Highly Regarded
Experience in any of the following environments would be advantageous:

  • Large-scale transformation programmes
  • Portfolio or programme management offices (PMO)
  • Large and complex public sector organisations
