The Opportunity

We’re looking for an organised and proactive People & Capability Coordinator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys recruitment and wants to broaden their HR experience in a collaborative and increasingly digital environment.

In this varied role, recruitment will be a key focus, and you’ll work with hiring managers and candidates to manage recruitment activity across the organisation. Alongside this, you’ll support a range of people and capability initiatives, providing high-quality coordination, advice and work across the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including advertising roles, screening applications, arranging interviews and communicating with candidates.
  • Provide an excellent experience for candidates, hiring managers and stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
  • Lead onboarding and offboarding activities and associated administration.
  • Prepare employment documentation and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Support data management, continuous improvement activities and other people initiatives.
  • Provide core HR coordination across the whole P&C lifecycle.

About You

This role would suit a motivated and ambitious early-career professional who enjoys learning, takes initiative, picks things up quickly, and is keen to grow their expertise across recruitment and HR. We’re also open to considering part-time candidates, with flexibility for hours to increase during busy periods.

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Previous coordination or administration experience, ideally with exposure to recruitment or HR.
  • Strong writing and communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a wide range of people.
  • A proactive, adaptable, customer-focused and team-oriented approach.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work at pace.
  • Confidence working with systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • Curiosity about people, capability and talents.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your HR and recruitment expertise and gain broader exposure to HR and people practices. You’ll be joining an organisation with around 130 employees with a great reputation, a supportive culture, and people who genuinely care about the work they do and each other.
You’ll work alongside an experienced People & Capability team and contribute to creating a positive employee experience across the organisation.
