Are you a senior P&C / Payroll systems specialist who thrives on complexity, loves working with data, and knows how to get the most out of HRIS and payroll technology?

The role involves:

  • Be the functional and technical expert across HR and payroll systems.
  • Optimise a large, complex payroll and HRIS environment 
  • Translate business needs into practical, effective system solutions.
  • Work across Talent and payroll systems, including configuration, testing and troubleshooting.
  • Assist with and, where required, lead annual payroll system upgrades, including planning, testing, issue resolution and implementation.
  • Use SQL, Excel and HR/payroll data to deliver reporting, insights and solutions.
  • Manage integrations and data flows across P&C systems.
  • Lead system testing, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, technology and the user experience.
  • Partner with P&C, payroll, technology and business stakeholders to solve problems and deliver outcomes.

What you will have (experience):

  • Strong experience across HRIS, payroll and/or Talent systems.
  • Experience working with a large or complex payroll environment.
  • High proficiency in SQL and Excel.
  • Strong reporting and data analysis capability across payroll and HR data.
  • Proven experience in system testing, upgrades and implementation.
  • The ability to support and/or lead annual payroll system upgrades.
  • Experience working with system integrations and data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A continuous improvement mindset.
  • Corporate and/or government payroll experience is ideal, but not essential.
