We’re seeking a Fund Controller / Reporting Officer to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, commencing around mid-October.
This role provides backfill support while the current Fund Controller leads a strategic data initiative. With established processes, substantial automation already in place, and ongoing support from experienced team members, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make the move from professional services into industry or build on their early finance career.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining reporting, supporting governance and compliance requirements, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of existing investment fund processes.

About the Role
As the Fund Controller / Reporting Officer, you’ll:

  • Prepare and maintain regular financial and management reporting.
  • Support investment valuation, audit, and year-end reporting processes.
  • Maintain and review investment and portfolio data.
  • Produce reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with governance, compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with finance, investment, and operational teams to ensure reporting remains accurate and timely.

About You
You’ll bring:

  • A recently qualified (or nearly qualified) CA, or a finance degree with relevant finance, accounting, audit, or analyst experience.
  • Strong numerical and analytical capability.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Confidence working with Excel and financial data.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to learn.
  • Reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering quality work.
