About the Role
Lead the delivery of high-level strategic and operational support to a Chief Executive Officer while overseeing a Business Support function who are responsible for supporting a senior executive leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced executive support professional who combines exceptional organisational capability with strong people leadership skills.

You will act as a trusted advisor, manage critical executive priorities, and ensure the CEO is prepared, informed and focused on strategic objectives. Alongside this, you will lead and develop the Business Support team, driving consistency, service excellence and continuous improvement across the function.

Duties

  • Provide proactive executive support, diary management and inbox coordination for the CEO
  • Prepare briefings, reports, agendas, correspondence and executive materials
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and act as a key liaison for internal and external contacts
  • Lead, coach and develop the Business Support team
  • Drive service delivery, capability development and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Oversee executive, board and leadership events, travel and engagement activities
  • Coordinate support for board-related activities and senior stakeholder visits

Skills & Experience

  • Proven senior executive support experience at CEO, Executive Leadership Team or C-suite level
  • Experience leading Executive Assistants, Business Support Managers or a similar support function
  • Exposure to multinational environments and senior global stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen, judgement and stakeholder management capability
  • Experience operating within complex, fast-paced organisations
  • High levels of emotional intelligence, professionalism and discretion
  • A collaborative leadership style with a focus on coaching, capability-building and continuous improvement
  • Experience within financial services or another regulated industry will be advantageous
