Are you a commercially minded Senior Accountant who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, improving processes, and making a real impact?

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a values-driven organisation during an exciting period of growth and transformation. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a broad portfolio, provide financial leadership, and contribute to key finance initiatives, including system and process improvements.

Working within a collaborative and supportive finance team, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering quality financial reporting, business partnering, and strategic financial advice across the organisation.

You will be responsible for:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Providing insightful analysis and recommendations to operational leaders
• Partnering with stakeholders to support informed decision-making
• Assisting with statutory reporting, audits, and compliance requirements
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls
• Supporting finance projects, including systems and transformation initiatives
• Mentoring and supporting members of the wider finance team

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• CA, CPA or equivalent accounting qualification
• Proven experience in a Senior Accountant, Finance Business Partner, or similar position
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting capability
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Advanced Excel and financial systems experience
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach

Highly Regarded

• Experience supporting finance system implementations or ERP projects
• Experience within education, public sector, not-for-profit, or other values-led organisations
• Exposure to financial transformation or process improvement initiatives
