About the role
Our client is looking for an experienced Business Support Coordinator to join their busy team on a temporary basis. This is a varied role providing administrative and coordination support across the wider business, with a particular focus on managing information requests, reporting, systems, and stakeholder liaison.

You will manage a high volume of requests, ensuring information is accurately captured, prioritised, and allocated through the appropriate systems. The role requires someone with strong judgement, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilties

  • Managing CCTV and official information requests
  • Capturing, reviewing, and prioritising approximately 500 requests each month
  • Working across two systems to allocate requests into the appropriate workflow
  • Liaising with Police and other organisations to obtain information and video footage
  • Reviewing and cross-referencing information for accuracy
  • Identifying urgent, critical, or conflicting information and escalating where appropriate
  • Preparing reports and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting wider administration, facilities, finance, and coordination activities
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and workflows

Skills & experience

  • Previous experience in administration, business support, or coordination roles
  • Strong systems capability and the ability to learn new platforms quickly
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence making decisions and knowing when to escalate or refer requests
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence communicating with stakeholders over the phone
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload and competing priorities
  • A proactive, collaborative, and process-focused approach
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

Applicants must also be available to work four days during the Christmas and New Year period between 22 December and 5 January.
