Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to step into a critical interim leadership role and provide stability, leadership and continuity during a period of transition.

This assignment will cover November and December month-end reporting cycles while permanent recruitment is underway. Reporting to the Director Enterprise, Finance & Property Services, you will assume responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the finance function and act as the most senior operational finance resource within the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Finance Manager, Financial Controller or senior finance contractor who can quickly build credibility, lead a team through a busy reporting period and ensure business-as-usual operations continue without disruption.

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • CA, CPA or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or senior finance leader.
  • Strong month-end close, financial reporting and management accounting experience.
  • Proven ability to lead finance teams through demanding reporting periods.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance and governance frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • The ability to quickly assess a situation, build relationships and deliver results with minimal handover.

Experience with TechnologyOne (TechOne) will be highly advantageous.
