About the role
Lead a collaborative administration team while remaining hands-on in the delivery of high-quality legal administrative support across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced legal administrator with leadership experience seeking a new challenge within a professional services environment.

Work closely with Partners and stakeholders across the firm to ensure the smooth running of the administration function. You’ll balance team leadership with operational delivery, supporting a collaborative and high-performing environment while contributing to ongoing improvements across the team.

Duties

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of legal administrators and front office staff
  • Manage workflows, resource allocation, and team coordination across the administration function
  • Coach, develop, and support team members to build capability and encourage continuous improvement
  • Provide hands-on legal administration support including documentation, correspondence, and client matter management
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to operational efficiencies
  • Liaise with Partners and senior stakeholders to ensure support requirements are met

Skills & experience

  • Proven experience within legal administration is essential
  • Proven experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating administration teams
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Advanced MS Office skills and confidence learning new systems
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility and influence senior professionals
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing process improvements
