H2R Technology is currently on the hunt for an Application support specialist to work in delivering and supporting a new innovative application to the business.  If you like to be an SME and enjoy support and stakeholder management – this is the role for youl.

This application will support and help an investigations teams through review of critical information and data.  You’ll help provide systems failure diagnosis – working with the vendor and a senior systems engineer.  You’ll also have experience writing and generating scripts for support purposes.   As a new application to the business you’ll be at the forefront for users as well – assisting with training where required.

The successful candidate will support a number of business stakeholders with various application based tasks and projects. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide proactive solutions support and maintenance to users
• Monitor solution performance, and  contribute to subsequent process improvement and consolidation initiatives
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders
• Develop and maintain document scripts (Python, Groovy, Java)
• Infrastructure support

Key skills required :

• Previous senior help desk or application support experience
• Coding experience to a basic level with Python, Groovy or Java
• Ability to train and work with stakeholders
• Be able to own and manage a critical application
