About the opportunity
You’ll lead a small team and take ownership of a broad brand remit: consumer insights, advertising, product marketing, new launches, campaigns and activations. You’ll work closely with sales and marketing teams locally and globally, to keep the brand strong and relevant in New Zealand. You’ll have the resources and reach of a global business, with room to bring local insight and fresh thinking to the work. People leadership matters here and you will lead a high performing team supporting and developing them to continue doing amazing work!

Who you are
You’re curious about people, culture and what’s coming next. You notice shifts in how consumers spend their time, what they care about and which brands earn a place in their lives. You bring ideas, but you’re just as happy working on strategy as you are getting into the detail to make things happen.

You’ll bring a relevant tertiary qualification and strong experience in FMCG or a consumer product business, including both above-the-line advertising and product marketing. You’ve worked with agencies, used data and consumer insight to make decisions, and know what it takes to bring a product or campaign to market. Experience with a lifestyle, sport or culture-led brand would be ideal. You’re also organised, commercially sharp and comfortable working within a well-established brand while finding creative ways to make it resonate locally. You’ve led people, and you’re ambitious for your team as well as yourself.
