We are looking for a business focused, (not IT Technical) Business Analyst for an immediate start, hourly rate contract in a large and complex public sector organisation, through to June 27.

You will be;

  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand their objectives, challenges, and opportunities – the programme has a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Facilitating stakeholder workshops, and meetings.
  • Translating complex business problems into clear requirements/processes and actionable outcomes, that address business need.
  • Challenging assumptions, asking questions, and investigating issues to uncover root causes.
  • Presenting findings and recommendations using both written documentation and visual representations such as process flows, journey maps, and diagrams.
  • Identifying opportunities across projects for work consolidation and collaboration.

Required technical skills

  • Knowledge of and experience using business analysis methodologies and frameworks.
  • Ability to undertake business process modelling and process improvement, and complete associated business requirement documentation and visualisations.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops and other stakeholder engagements.
  • Strong data analysis, writing and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
