About the role
Play a key role in shaping how business development is delivered within a high-performing professional services environment. Working closely with senior partners, you’ll support client growth and acquisition through a mix of data analysis, stakeholder engagement, proposals, and BD initiatives.
This role goes beyond coordination, with a strong focus on using insights to guide decision-making, ensuring BD activity is strategic, targeted, and aligned to business outcomes.

Duties

• Analyse client, pipeline, and market data to identify growth opportunities
• Support partners with client strategy, targeting, and BD planning
• Prepare proposals, tenders, and capability statements
• Coordinate and support BD initiatives including events and client engagement
• Maintain and utilise CRM systems to support insight-led BD activity
• Contribute to improving processes, reporting, and overall BD effectiveness

Skills & experience

• Experience in business development, marketing, or client engagement within a professional services or corporate environment
• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders
• Commercial mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities
• Experience preparing proposals, tenders, or client-facing materials
• Confident using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and working with data
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to work autonomously
