Claims Adviser –  GYB Insurance | Lower Hutt | Permanent 

H2R Consulting is exclusively recruiting for GYB Insurance for this fantastic opportunity in Lower Hutt.

As a Claims Adviser, you’ll manage claims from start to finish, working across commercial, domestic, liability and specialty claims. You’ll be the key point of contact for clients, keeping them informed and supported throughout the claims process, while working closely with brokers, insurers, assessors and service providers.

Skills & Experience (required): 

• Experience in Insurance claims management.
• Strong technical understanding of policy coverage, wordings, and claims
processes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex
information clearly and confidently to clients.
• Strong client management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement
skills.
• Ability to manage multiple claims in a fast-paced environment while
maintaining high service standards.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving
skills.
• Preferred: Experience in NZ general insurance, multiple product lines,
and broking systems such as Insight or Folio.
• Preferred: ANZIIF or Level 5 qualification (or willingness to obtain).
