This opportunity has arisen due to the current Client Relationship Lead stepping into another role within the organisation.

Background on Adminis:

Adminis is an innovative and growing company dedicated to transforming the financial services industry in New Zealand. We specialise in investment administration services for funds and wealth managers, alongside providing advanced wealth management tools.

Our experienced team utilises a unique, in-house developed platform to deliver a full suite of front, middle, and back-office services, including end-investor interfaces and adviser-led wealth solutions.

Since 2013, Adminis has successfully supported fund and wealth managers across New Zealand. Our team consists of around 100 professionals, evenly split between operations and product/technology. We support approximately 50 clients, representing around 80,000 investors.

What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day:

This is a pivotal, client-facing role where you’ll sit at the heart of the business, building strong relationships and ensuring clients receive an exceptional experience.

  • Be the go-to person for a portfolio of clients, building trusted, long-term relationships
  • Act as the voice of the client internally, championing their needs and driving continuous improvement
  • Manage and resolve client queries, working closely with operations and product teams
  • Lead client meetings, ensuring actions are captured and delivered
  • Monitor service performance and proactively enhance the client experience
  • Support client communications, updates, and key documentation
  • Play a key role in onboarding new clients, setting them up for success from day one
  • Contribute to presales activity, helping shape solutions that meet client needs

The Purpose of the Role:

The core objective of this role is to ensure clients receive a consistently high level of service and become strong advocates of Adminis.

As Client Relationship Lead, you will be a key point of contact for clients, owning queries through to resolution by coordinating with internal subject matter experts. You will also lead regular client meetings, ensuring clear communication and delivery against agreed actions.

This is a varied role where you will also support product demonstrations and contribute to the sales process where appropriate.

The ideal person: 

  • Demonstrated understanding of the New Zealand financial services sector and accounting principles
  • Experience within the funds and/or wealth management industry
  • Proven track record in client relationship management
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Good computer literacy, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and platforms
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Enjoys building relationships and creating strong, lasting connections
  • A strong sense of ownership and a drive to do the right thing for both the client and the business
  • Takes pride in delivering high-quality work and setting high standards
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously
  • Contributes positively to a collaborative and enjoyable team environment

Essentially, we are looking for a super keen, natural communicator, who also has knowledge and experience in Financial Markets. You will have the ability to immediately build trust and rapport with a wide range of clientele.
