We’re seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a high-performing finance team on a 6-month contract. Supporting a busy operational environment, you’ll be responsible for managing credit risk, maintaining debtor performance, and building strong relationships across a diverse customer base. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role with plenty of variety. You’ll take ownership of your ledger while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve issues, improve outcomes, and contribute to the ongoing success of the wider finance function.

About the Role
As the Credit Controller, you’ll:

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and maintain strong debtor performance.
• Drive credit control and collections activities across your assigned ledger.
• Process cash receipting, allocations, credit notes, and refunds.
• Complete account reconciliations and manual invoicing where required.
• Investigate and resolve customer account queries and disputes.
• Conduct credit reviews and assess customer payment arrangements.
• Support cashflow management and debtor reporting activities.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and customer outcomes.
• Ensure outstanding debt is managed within agreed targets.

About You
You’ll bring:

• Proven experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, or a similar finance role.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Confidence dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders and customers.
• Sound commercial judgement and the ability to make informed credit decisions.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
• High attention to detail and strong administrative capability.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with ERP systems, with SAP experience being advantageous.
