We’re seeking a confident and customer-focused Customer Response Coordinator for an 8-week temporary assignment based in Ellerslie. This role is ideal for someone with a strong customer service or helpdesk background who enjoys managing enquiries, solving problems, and working collaboratively across teams.

About the role
This role plays a key part in delivering a positive customer experience by managing customer feedback and enquiries related to a large, complex transport network. You’ll be responsible for logging, tracking, and responding to customer cases, working closely with internal teams to gather accurate information, and communicating clearly and professionally with customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage customer enquiries and feedback through a helpdesk-style function
  • Log and track customer cases in a CRM system (Microsoft 365 preferred)
  • Respond to customers in line with service levels and brand voice
  • Liaise with internal teams and subject matter experts to obtain information and resolve issues
  • Log and monitor jobs through internal systems until completion
  • Identify risks and escalate customer issues when required
  • Support wider communications and engagement activities
  • Build a working knowledge of the transport network and related assets

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in customer service, customer response, or helpdesk roles
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft 365
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to handle difficult or sensitive customer conversations with confidence and professionalism
  • Comfortable reviewing written material and extracting key information
  • Well organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
  • A collaborative team player who builds strong working relationships
