Great opportunity to join a dynamic and forward thinking data team experiencing high growth and project engagement.  You will provide a high level of data engineering across project and BAU to ensure a high quality of data pipeline build, analytics and end to end process. is achieved.

The preferred candidate will have the following skills and experience to be successful in the role:

• 5+ years in a dedicated Data Engineering position
• Advanced knowledge of modern cloud data platforms and working with structured and unstructured data (preferably in Azure).
• Knowledge of cloud data management tools such Data factory and Data bricks.
• Knowledge of Data warehouse ETL processes and tools.
• Expert knowledge of relational database management.
• Expert knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (PowerBI or Tableau).
• Expert ability in Excel, and other Statistical software packages (R or SAS) numerical and technical information.
• A confident and professional approach to work with a high level of  presentation skills.
• Ability to partner with senior business stakeholders to present data design and best practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are expected.

All candidates must be currently based in Auckland with full NZ working rights (NZ Citizen or Permanent Residence).
