We are seeking an experienced Data Management & Quality Analyst to support a large and complex transformation programme.
This is an opportunity to establish strong data management and quality practices from the ground up, ensuring critical business data is clearly defined, appropriately controlled and fit for reporting and operational use.

Key responsibilities:

• Establish a practical data management and data quality framework.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive business glossary and data catalogue.
• Define consistent data definitions, standards, quality rules and controls.
• Support the effective management of master and reference data.
• Establish processes for measuring, monitoring and reporting data quality.
• Identify data-quality issues and coordinate cleansing and remediation activities.
• Support data owners and stewards to understand and fulfil their responsibilities.
• Work alongside reporting teams to ensure trusted data supports accurate reporting and decision-making.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams and external delivery partners.
• Help transition the organisation from fragmented definitions and reactive data correction to sustainable and measurable data-management practices.

Experience required:

• Proven experience in data management, data quality, data governance or master data management.
• Experience establishing or implementing data management and quality frameworks.
• Hands-on experience developing business glossaries, data catalogues or metadata-management practices.
• Strong understanding of data definitions, standards, controls, profiling, cleansing and remediation.
• Experience working within a large transformation, ERP implementation or data migration programme.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with business owners, data stewards, reporting teams, technical specialists and external partners.
• The ability to translate data-management principles into practical processes that can be adopted by the business.
• Strong analytical, documentation and problem-solving capability.

Experience with SAP, SuccessFactors, SAC, HRIS, payroll or workforce-management systems would be beneficial. Previous experience within a large, complex programmes would be advantageous.

This role would suit someone who enjoys establishing capability rather than simply maintaining existing processes.
