  • Fast‑paced, delivery‑focused role
  • Newly created position with genuine development growth
  • Help drive one of Aotearoa’s most significant regeneration programmes

About the Opportunity

This newly created Development & Infrastructure Support Manager role sits at the heart of TRC’s Development & Infrastructure (D&I) function. It has been designed to bridge the gap between housing project delivery and the support functions that surround it, ensuring consistent information flows, handovers land cleanly, and teams operate as one connected engine.
Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, you’ll be deeply embedded in live projects, supporting Development Managers and senior leaders to apply the End‑to‑End process in a way that is practical and grounded in real delivery conditions. This is a hands‑on role where initiative, curiosity, and strong organisational and project management skills are essential.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and refine the End‑to‑End development process so it reflects real project conditions and supports the experts delivering work on the ground
  • Work alongside Development Managers to make sense of project information, resolve blockers early, and keep teams ahead of key dates, handovers, and milestones
  • Coordinate all D&I handover activities, ensuring information is accurate, consistent, and flowing smoothly across workstreams and business units
  • Produce high‑quality, reliable reporting for/with PMO, Legal, Construction QA, and senior leaders to support informed decision‑making
  • Build strong relationships across the organisation to understand their priorities and ensure D&I processes and delivery align with wider business needs
  • Bring clarity, structure, and discipline to a fast‑moving programme, helping lift delivery performance and reduce friction between teams

Who You’ll Be
We’re looking for someone who brings the mindset of a project manager. You will be structured, accountable, delivery‑focused, and confident engaging across the organisation with strong EQ and curiosity.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience supporting or managing projects in complex or fast‑moving environments
  • Enjoy solving problems, seeking out information proactively, and keeping momentum moving,
  • Bring strong process discipline with great documentation and organisational skills with the ability to change and adapt accordingly during live projects
  • Roll up your sleeves, take ownership, and be excited to fully own the end to end project
  • Translate real‑world project challenges into smarter, practical systems and processes
  • Have the right attitude with calm professionalism to collaborate across the whole organisation to achieve the same goal of delivery high quality homes to the community

Experience in development, construction, or infrastructure is an advantage, but not essential if you have solid project management fundamentals and the initiative to learn and adapt.
