We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking HR leader to join the People Operations Leadership Team and make a lasting impact. This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role where you will influence strategy, drive positive change, empower leaders and champion a high performing people first culture.

As the Director People Operations, you will lead the operational and strategic elements of HR service delivery including Workplace Investigations & Resolutions, HR Advisory and Payroll.  You will be responsible for delivering strategic and pragmatic HR outcomes and help resolve complex employee matters in a timely manner with a holistic and people-centric approach. Reporting to the Chief People Officer you will be a key part of the senior leadership team.

There is a clear roadmap and people strategy for the future which defines the culture, stand out leadership capability and modern innovative HR services the People Operations group are committed to embedding including the implementation of a new payroll/HRIS system.

You will be a seasoned HR, ER and Change professional with significant leadership experience who has worked in large complex organisations and transformation environments. You will be well versed in employment relations have strong relationship management and influencing skills to work with their leaders to lift the capability and delivery across People Operations.  In addition to this you will be seen as a trusted and credible advisor to Executive Leaders providing them with strategic advice and support.  We are seeking a resilient, solution focused, confident individual who will bring energy, passion and enthusiasm to the role and organisation.

Suitable candidates will demonstrate:

  • Significant senior HR leadership experience.
  • Experience in building and leading high performing teams.
  • Strong experience in the employment investigations and resolution space.
  • Experience leading change and transformation in fast-paced, complex environments.
  • The ability to influence, gain trust and establish new relationships quickly.
  • A depth of knowledge and experience across generalist HR.
  • Experience in digital transformation would be desirable.
  • Highly motivated, organised, takes initiative and is performance and outcomes driven.
  • Experience in executing people-related initiatives (policy, process, systems, and HR practices).
  • Experience in dealing with ambiguity, demonstrating sound judgement and composure.
