Are you a flexible and adaptable technical and operational support professional with a passion for supporting frontline teams? VTNZ is seeking a customer focused professional to provide expert technical guidance across driver testing, licensing, and counter services for a fixed term opportunity through until the end of the year.

The opportunity
You will be the go-to expert for complex queries, supporting Customer Care staff, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining clear processes and FAQs, and helping drive consistent, compliant, and high-quality outcomes for VTNZ customers. You will bring a strong customer focus, building trusted relationships and supporting frontline teams with clear, practical guidance. Expert knowledge of driver licensing, testing, front counter services, and systems is essential, along with the ability to simplify complex information that is easy to understand.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the primary technical contact for driver testing and licencing queries and be the conduit between the Customer Service team and the Compliance team.
  • Capture, analyse, and report complaints and trends, supporting continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and improve knowledge resources, FAQs, and quick guides.
  • Work closely with operations and compliance teams to ensure consistent application of driver licensing requirements.
  • Contribute to project planning and delivery using your subject matter expertise.
  • Provide coaching and training for Customer Care team members.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in driver licensing, testing, or regulatory services with a customer service focus
  • Experience operating in a complex, fast paced environment where change is constant
  • Experience with complaint management systems
  • Strong knowledge of licensing rules, test standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across operations, compliance, and delivery.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring frontline teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Strong problem-solving, accuracy, and attention to detail.
