Accounting Operations Co-Ordinator 5-Month Contract | Porirua | ASAP Start | $40 per hour

We are on the hunt for a capable and customer-focused Accounting Operations Co-Ordinator to join a high-performing finance team based in Porirua.

This is a varied, fast-paced role supporting multiple Districts across transactional finance operations. You’ll be part of a close-knit team providing end-to-end support across AP, AR, purchase orders, credit cards and finance queries.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Raising and monitoring purchase orders and commitments
• Credit card processing and query resolution
• Providing end-to-end finance transaction support
• Responding to queries via phone, email and service desk
• Following up outstanding actions and resolving issues quickly
• Working collaboratively across a large organisation

What we’re looking for:

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Positive, team-first attitude with a good sense of humour
• Ability to stay organised and manage competing priorities
• Confident phone and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience in AP, AR or procure-to-pay environments preferred
• Someone who picks up systems quickly and enjoys problem solving

• 5-month contract
• ASAP start
• 40 hours per week
• Porirua location – Royal New Zealand Police College
• $40 per hour
