Remote | 35 Hours Per Week | Hourly Rate Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Learning Designer for a 3-month contract, working 35 hours per week. This role can be performed remotely from anywhere in New Zealand.

This opportunity sits within a large, purpose-driven public sector environment and will support a significant cross-agency programme of work. You will play a key role in developing engaging, high-quality eLearning modules that support a nationally important initiative.

About the Role You will be responsible for designing and developing two interactive eLearning modules (15–20 minutes each), primarily using Articulate 360, with Rise as the main development tool and Storyline where required.

In addition to module development, you will:

• Lead the end-to-end design process from briefing and concept development through to final production and delivery
• Manage graphic design requirements across multiple internal stakeholders and project groups
• Support the development of branded material and collateral aligned to organisational standards
• Balance competing priorities across multiple workstreams and stakeholders
• Apply creative thinking to deliver engaging, visually compelling learning solutions
• Identify and mitigate any potential reputational or brand risks within learning materials

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience developing eLearning content using Articulate 360 (Rise & Storyline)
• Strong graphic design capability and understanding of visual storytelling
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Experience within the public sector or complex organisational environments is advantageous
