About the role
Step into a varied and hands-on HR Advisor contract where you’ll provide generalist support across a broad employee lifecycle. Working closely with a Senior HR Advisor, you’ll support leaders through employment relations matters, organisational change, and people initiatives within a large, multi-site environment.

This role will see you delivering pragmatic HR advice, supporting case management across performance and conduct matters, and contributing to wider people projects and process improvement initiatives. You’ll bring a balanced, solutions-focused approach and the ability to operate confidently in a complex, fast-paced setting.

Duties

  • Provide generalist HR advice and support to leaders across the employee lifecycle
  • Support employment relations case management including performance, misconduct and complex people matters
  • Coach and guide managers to ensure consistent, best-practice people outcomes
  • Contribute to change initiatives, HR projects and process improvement work
  • Support policy interpretation, implementation and continuous improvement
  • Assist with reporting, analysis and insights to inform people decisions
  • Build strong relationships across the wider People team and business

Skills & experience

  • Proven experience at HR Advisor level or similar
  • Strong understanding of NZ employment legislation and ER best practice
  • Confidence supporting complex and sensitive people matters
  • Ability to build trust and credibility with leaders quickly
  • Pragmatic, resilient and solutions-focused approach
  • Experience working in large or complex organisations highly regarded
