About the role
Our client is looking for an HR Advisor to join their team on a 13-month fixed-term parental leave cover. You will play a pivotal role in offering high-level HR support and guidance on all facets of people management. Reporting to the People and Culture Lead, this role aids the business in enhancing the management, development, and retention of their workforce.
What you will do

  • Provide accurate and timely HR advice and support to managers and employees
  • Support people leaders with performance issues within their teams and provide guidance to effectively manage them
  • Analyse and report on HR trends
  • Work closely with the People team on various HR related projects and initiatives

About you
You will bring with you the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience as an HR Advisor
  • Strong knowledge of NZ employment law
  • Knowledge of ER and ability to coach and guide on this
  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to build trust and credibility with leaders
  • Sound judgement, ability to prioritise, and problem solve
