About the role
As the HR Advisor, you will be responsible for providing support and advice to managers and employees, including coaching managers on effective management of employees, providing advice on HR legislation and policies, and managing employee disciplinary processes. You will also participate in HR related projects and initiatives, and report on HR trends.

What you will do

  • Implement recruitment processes
  • Provide accurate and timely HR advice and support to managers and employees
  • Manage employee disciplinary processes and performance management end to end
  • Analyse and report on HR trends
  • Coordinate EAP referrals and ensure the service is accessed appropriately
  • Lead and participate in HR related projects and initiatives
  • Design and develop processes to support HR in delivering business outcomes

About you
You will bring with you the following skills and experience:

  • At least 2-3 years of HR experience ideally in a large organisation
  • Strong knowledge of NZ employment law
  • Solid end to end ER experience
  • Experience working in a unionised environment is beneficial
  • Ability to engage with individuals at all levels
